Symphony number 5 is one of the most recognized symphonies in the world!
There is a simple pattern of notes that is played throughout (it is the first four notes of the music). A simple pattern that is repeated over and over in music is called a motive.
Can you think of any other songs where there is a simple repeated pattern throughout?!
